Since its inception the Festival has featured locally and internationally produced short
films. We encourage filmmakers to submit films that meet the following guidelines:
Films must be in French, or deal with some aspect of French language or culture.
The running time of the shorts presented at the SFFF is typically less than 30 minutes.
Films must be in French with English subtitles, or in English.
Films must be received no later than May 1st.
Please submit a copy of your film in NTSC DVD format for our consideration. PAL format may be acceptable. Include your contact information.
Copies sent will not be returned.
Short Films are presented at the Festival in DVD format. If your film is selected you will be requested to send us 2 DVDs, and a synopsis.
You will receive an email notice before May 30th regarding whether or not your film has been selected for inclusion in the SFFF program.
