    THE 2019 SACRAMENTO FRENCH FILM FESTIVAL

    PREFERRED ROLES

    There are a number of different volunteering roles at the Festival. Please check which ones you are most interested in doing from the list below. Check all that apply. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences but we cannot guarantee that you will be assigned to your preferred role(s) as we need to place volunteers where they are needed most in order to make the festival work as smoothly as possible. We appreciate your understanding and your willingness to be flexible.

    Tearing tickets at the theatre entrance, handing out audience ballots, and helping with the prize drawing before each film.

    Usher

    Selling merchandise including t-shirts, posters, bags, buttons, socks, and raffle tickets.

    Sales Table

    Helping with the Opening Night Reception and/or the Closing Night Reception. Roles include food pick-up, room set-up, food prep and service.

    Catering

    Helping to decorate and set-up the lobby, assisting with the load-in and load-out of Festival equipment and supplies. This role often requires shifts early in the morning or late at night.

    Setup

    Helping on Opening Night to give out passes and wrist bands to sponsors, guests, and attendees who bought advance passes.

    Will Call

    Sell tickets and passes. Involves handling cash and credit card transactions.

    Box Office

    Distribute individual film tickets to festival patrons holding passes. Mark off which film tickets have been given on the back of each pass.
