WHY DONATE TO THE SFFF? YOU make the Festival happen!
The costs of booking films and renting our venues (to name only our two most essential expenses) increase every year and our tickets sales cover only about half of our operating costs, which we keep as low as possible thanks to our tireless volunteers, bighearted in-kind sponsors, and our Board of Directors’ efficient management. The Sacramento French Film Festival depends on support from our sponsors to bring the highest-quality films to Sacramento while keeping event pricing affordable to a wide audience. Your contribution enables the SFFF to continue its tradition of high-quality, fun, and thought-provoking events!

The SFFF is organized by the Sacramento French Cultural Society, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. As allowed by the IRS, the portion of your contribution that exceeds the fair market value of the benefits you receive in exchange is tax deductible. To calculate the tax deductible portion of your donation, please use 2019 pass prices when announced.

Fun Facts about the SFFF
- Established in 2002, the SFFF is the 2nd largest French film festival on the West Coast.
- Films include the latest premieres, classic masterpieces, and short films.
- The SFFF brings filmmakers from France to present their work, and local film experts to lead film discussions.
- The SFFF has won several awards for its creativity, outstanding leadership, and the excellence of its programs. Executive & Artistic Director Cécile Mouette-Downs was appointed to the prestigious order of Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres by the French Government.
- The SFFF is not just in June anymore! Additionally, we presents two other annual events: the WINTER SHORTS FEST (since 2008) presenting the Cesar (French Academy Awards) nominated short films, and the MINIFEST (since 2014), a one-day miniature fall festival. The SFFF holds other special events and screenings as opportunities arise. The SFFF is proud to have partnered with local arts organizations like the Crocker Art Museum, Verge Center for the Arts and the Sacramento Philharmonic Orchestra.

Sponsoring the Sacramento French Film Festival offers a unique opportunity to have the name of your business attached to an acclaimed, first-class event described by members of our audience as “the best cultural event in Sacramento”.

We have established the following four Cash Sponsoring levels, and we also have In-Kind Sponsorship and Media Partnership opportunities with the aim of offering you the best benefits packages with high exposure at our events, on our website and in our newsletter, as well as in our printed program and on our poster.
