From the writers of Would I lie to You (La Verite Si Je Mens) comes a hilarious comedy, mixing humor and tenderness with a dash of cynicism about money and happiness. Munz and Bitton, use laughter and caricature to make a spirited portray of their contemporaries. Jean-Pierre Darroussin, also starring in Feux Rouges (Red Lights), demonstrates here his brilliant comic side and leads an inspired cast including Valéria Bruni-Tedeschi, Richard Berry and François Morel.
The day he wins 10 millions Euros on the national lottery, Aldo (Jean-Pierre Darroussin), a middle class cosmetics salesman in the midst of a divorce, learns his wife (Valéria Bruni-Tedeschi) is cheating on him with his boss (Richard Berry). He then decides to say nothing until the divorce is final and, though immensely rich, tries to go on living as a poor man. But the temptation of luxury is hard to resist…
