LATE NIGHT SCREENINGS |
This year, we are taking it slow, and won't present real late night screenings.
Our only "Late Night” Film, on Saturday, June 17, won't start that late (11:00pm) and will be easy on the eyes. Personal Shopper is an atmospheric ghostly thriller, shot in France and almost entirely in English. The great Olivier Assayas directs for the second time the American star Kristen Stewart.
Before we head back home early, Coffee Works will treat us to delicious coffee and pastries!
On the following Saturday, June 24, the 10:00pm screening of Slack Bay, the off-the-wall comedy by Bruno Dumont, will also be followed by coffee and pastries.
Personal Shopper plays only once.
Slack Bay also plays on Sunday, June 25 at 2:50pm.

NATHAN WILLCOCKS
The tri-lingual Nathan Willcocks has acted in more than 30 theatrical plays - notably in the United Kingdom with directors Marianne Elliott at the Royal Exchange Theatre (Martin Yesterday) and Ken Campbell (The Warp). In France, he played in La Rose Jaune directed by Jacques Connort. On television, he has worked both in Spain (Cesc Gay) and in France (Versailles-Season 2, and Missions - TV critics award at Cannes Mipdrama 2017). On the big screen, he has collaborated closely with director Morgan Simon and starred in most of his short films, including Try To Die Young (Essaie de mourir jeune, part of our 9th Winter Short Film Screening presenting the César-nominated short films in February 2016), and the feature film A Taste of Ink (Compte Tes Blessures, presented this year at the SFFF). In 2017, Nathan Willcocks was cast in the first feature directed by Woody Harrelson, Lost in London, a single-shot-sequence film that was screened live in 550 cinemas in the United States on January 19th, and which will be released later this year.
