CHARLES ZIGMAN, who lives in Los Angeles, is the author of WORLD'S COOLEST MOVIE STAR, an exhaustive and fascinating two-volume biography and filmography of French movie legend Jean Gabin (www.jeangabinbook.com) whose long career spanned from 1931 till his death in 1976. WORLD'S COOLEST MOVIE STAR was one of critic Leonard Maltin's picks for Best Film Book of 2009.
Zigman has taught film and television classes at Augusta State University, Georgia, and at the New York Film Academy. Zigman will introduce and conduct the post screening discussion after PORT OF SHADOWS (1938) and TWO MEN IN TOWN (1973), both starring the world's coolest movie star, Jean Gabin! |
